Why did you join Movement Exchange?

When I first came to college, I wanted to continue dancing, but wasn't able to be a dance major. In finding Movement Exchange through graduate student Blair Brown, not only did it provide an outlet for me to dance, but I also was able to share and serve others. The trip to Panamá was transforming, and I decided to get involved with the club in order to keep the trip's purpose in my life.

What is your favorite thing about Movement Exchange?

I love that dance is used as a tool to help others, uniting people from different cultures and times. I think Movement Exchange showcases the power of active artistry, and that dance can be used to make a difference in the world.

What makes your Movement Exchange chapter unique?

Our chapter is unique because we have been able to attend the annual Panama trip for all 3 consecutive years since our chapter's founding.
